........................................Barry Woods

December 3, 1948 ~  October 7, 2006

Barry was tragically killed by a motor vehicle while riding his custom ‘81 Harley near his home on Lake Trail Road. Had to go riding that day, the sun was out and the days were getting shorter. “Have to go and split some wind”.

His wife of twenty-five years, Susanne Woods, and her family donated $500    to VIAIMS in memory of Barry. They expressed a hope that it would help someone in need, knowing that this was something that Barry would have wanted also.

“Riding is in the blood of this family, as both Barry’s brother and son ride and will continue to ride. Not only for themselves, but for Barry as well, as that is the way he would have wanted it.”

. . . “Forever in the Wind “

“Farmer Dave”

Known for his love of Harleys, John Deere tractors and his great sense of humor, he adopted the nickname of ‘Farmer Dave’

A family man whose life was full of love, friendship and fun. An amazing friend to many people.

Those who crossed paths with Dave, and had the pleasure of his company, were truly fortunate.

Never count the years in a man’s life,

But the life in a man’s years . . .
